Colon cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in Canada. It is estimated that 23,900 Canadians will be diagnosed with colon cancer each year, and 9,200 will die from it. Your lifetime risk of developing colon cancer is approximately 1 in 13 for men, and 1 in 15 for women.
